I am writing to let you all know of a new kids music competition in the Triangle. It’s called Music Kids Competition and it was created by Rob Peele, the owner of Center Stage Music School in Garner, NC. Music Kids Competition will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Imurj in downtown Raleigh starting at 10am. 

The mission of Music Kids Competition is simple: Provide a consistent platform for music kids of differing ages and skill levels to regularly perform, compete, and be awarded for their efforts. Bands and soloist are encouraged to audition. To encourage the participation of schools and organizations that foster music education, they are offering two grand prizes from our sponsors. The Fulcrum Award is $500, which will be given directly to the music school or similar type organization whose band scores the highest across all age categories. The Stock Award is $250, which will be given directly to the music school or similar type organization whose vocal soloist scores the highest across all age categories.
